Enriching Curriculum
At Mt. Olive Preschool, our program includes diverse activities such as sharing, conversation time, stories, songs, finger plays, creative arts, crafts, games, cooking, science, and nature activities. Church time weekly with our Pastor enriches our curriculum with Christian stories that teach love, service, justice and hope for all people.
An Environment of Learning
Since 1972, Mt. Olive has been a haven for playful learning and discovery. Our classrooms and playgrounds are designed to cater to various learning styles, allowing children to interact with materials and engage in activities that teach them about their world and community. We emphasize the development of social skills, self-help skills, and academic readiness, including letter recognition, writing, and numeracy.
Compassionate Teachers
Our professional staff is the backbone of Mt. Olive, providing high-quality, developmentally appropriate materials and curriculum for children aged 2-5. With a staff-child ratio of 1:6, we ensure close, consistent, and supportive relationships. Our teachers and assistants have a strong foundation in Child Development and are committed to ongoing education through workshops, conferences, and in-service training.

Our program is designed to cultivate self-esteem, independence, and a positive outlook that children will carry into their next stage of growth eventually leading to Kindergarten Readiness. Our goal is to support the growth of well-rounded individuals who are confident and prepared for the next steps in their educational journey.
